A subject set for Hindi cinema box office hero, Akshay Kumar is now made in Kannada as ‘Private Number’ starring newcomer Preetham with two lovely lasses Niharika Singh and Claudia Ciesla by director Anand Kumar for producer Ganesh Shetty.

As the call sheet of Akshay Kumar was not available till 2012 producer Ganesh Shetty compelled director and writer Anand Kumar to bring it into Kannada language. The result of it is Mangalorean hero Preetham, Mangalorean builder Ganesh Shetty as producer, Mumbai director Anand Kumar, former Miss India Niharika Singh, Internationally acclaimed model, singer German based Claudia Ciesla, music director from Hyderabad Agasthya, Premand B as director of Photography all join together for the first time in a thriller ‘Private Number’ that went on the floor on Sunday morning at Abbainaidu studio in the presence of dream merchant of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran.

“In the normal life of the hero a phone call disturbs him. That is the private number and what happens later is the crux of the film” says Anand Kumar who has done feature film Jugaad, Delhi Heights and his under production in Malayalam is starring Mammootty that is ‘Kabadi Kabadi’.

Agasthya who has done music for two Telugu films Romeo and Pellaina Kothalo has composed five songs. Cheetah Yagnesh Shetty has planned two fantastic action scenes. It is one in the opening and the other one in the climax in the real Rambo and Arnold style.

Preetham has worked for five years to build his muscles and he is basically an athlete. Former Miss India of 2005 Niharika Singh is an ace model and actress of three films in Hindi, is making her debut in Kannada through this movie. She plays the heroine in ‘Private Number’. The model turned actress and singer Claudia Ciesla plays the guest role in this film as best friend of the heroine.
